About the department
As our new Senior Manager you will be a part of a newly established SVP (Senior Vice President) area in Novo Nordisk, where we, through a global programme are seeking to explore the opportunities of expanding the current aseptic filling capacity across our global manufacturing network. More specific, you will join the project team which are responsible for driving the Danish part of the production expansion programme.

 

You will be working closely with your colleagues in the Danish project team on a daily basis, while you will also be a part of a broader collaboration with the programme and work together with colleagues across sites globally, all seeking to establish the future standards for production in Novo Nordisk. Organisationally we are anchored in Novo Nordisk Product Supply which addresses around 19,000 of Novo Nordisk’s more than 44,000 employees.

 

In this position, you will be referring to the Director of Intralogistics and Finished products and be a part of a group of five colleagues within senior management. We have just started our journey and with the support of your senior management colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop the department from the bottom up and build the team going forward!

 

The position

The Senior Manager for Assembly and Packaging is responsible for building the end user organisation for our new finished production which is currently at green field stage. This will involve strong leadership and a motivation to drive LEAN processes to secure operational readiness. Further you will be working closely with the intralogistics, Engineering and Facility team to make sure that we are building the facility for the future.

 

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all finished product (FP) activities
  • Project management and execution including integration and cooperation of all other inter-faces
  • Quality and compliance including full compliance with Science- and Risk based Validation (SRV) principals
  • Setting a team early in the project to ensure that the end user requirements are met
     

You will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with senior stakeholders cross functionally and globally which includes but is not limited to, Device Manufacturing and Development (DMD), program QA, the Senior Manager for Logistics and Integration and external vendors for all equipment.
 

Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you hold a Bachelor, Master or PhD in a relevant area together with extensive hands-on experience within assembly and packaging, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
 

Other experiences include:

  • Setting strategic direction with experience from line management/ leading teams
  • Extensive project management with technical knowledge within assembly and packaging
  • An ability to install LEAN culture around you by enabling and empowering your organisation
  • Stakeholder management and working cross functionally and globally
