Senior IT Security Advisor – API Production
Zealand, Denmark (multi-site responsibility)

Are you ready to shape cybersecurity across critical pharmaceutical manufacturing? Join us as a Senior IT Security Advisor and take the lead in safeguarding complex API production environments across Zealand. This is a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of IT, OT, and business-critical operations.

Your new role

As Senior IT Security Advisor, you will act as the cybersecurity authority across six API manufacturing sites, ensuring robust protection of production systems while supporting business continuity and regulatory compliance. You will be part of the leadership team, advising senior stakeholders and driving the cybersecurity agenda in a highly regulated environment.

In this strategic and hands-on role, you will:

  • Lead and define the cybersecurity strategy, governance, and roadmap across multiple manufacturing sites, aligning with corporate and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee cybersecurity risk management, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as GMP, GxP, and industry standards, while driving mitigation initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on IT and OT security, including manufacturing systems, industrial networks, and critical infrastructure
  • Ensure security-by-design principles are embedded into projects, digital transformation initiatives, and system implementations
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Production, Engineering, QA, and Global Information Security to drive alignment and impact

You will play a crucial role in balancing cybersecurity requirements with production stability, influencing decision-making at leadership level and ensuring the continued resilience of manufacturing operations.

Your new department

You will join a high-performing leadership team responsible for IT/OT operations supporting API production across Zealand. The department works closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and global cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, stable, and compliant production environments.

With a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement, the team is committed to delivering innovative and reliable solutions in a highly regulated industry. You will operate in a dynamic, cross-functional environment where your expertise will directly influence both strategic direction and operational excellence.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you bring strong cybersecurity expertise combined with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and regulated environments.

We expect you to have:

  • A degree in Information Security, IT, Engineering, or a related field, along with solid experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and governance
  • Proven ability to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, or similar
  • Experience working in complex environments, ideally within pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech, or other highly regulated industries
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical risks clearly to non-technical audiences
  • A proactive, pragmatic mindset with the ability to drive change, influence decisions, and balance security with business needs

Experience within GMP/GxP environments, OT systems (e.g. SCADA, PLC, MES), or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar will be considered an advantage.
