The Position

As a Senior Environmental Monitoring Supporter, you will be working with colleagues in Environmental Monitoring (EM) team at our Site Hillerød. Our focus is on ensuring that our classified rooms meet the regulatory requirements.

 

We are monitoring microorganisms, particles, humidity, pressure, and utilities such as water, gasses and steam in the production area, and our primary area of responsibility are related to handling, reporting and documenting the results.

 

The EM team is setting up the monitoring program when products and processes are changing. This is done by performing risk assessments and might imply new validation of the rooms. Optimizations and projects will currently be identified and implemented.

 

Other responsibilities of the team are the behaviour, cleaning and gowning - setting up procedures, training, reviewing logbooks and contact to external and internal stakeholders.

 

Temporary changes or incidents in the production sometimes need input, actions, problem solving and rationales from this team that need to be handled – often with short deadlines.

 

The main tasks will be to:

  • Implement EM tasks related to projects and implementation of new products – Risk Assessments, VPL and PfV.

  • Execute changes/optimizations: CR-cases and SOP-updates.

  • Process data in the IT systems and Portable Emissions Measurement Systems (PEMS).

  • Provide support to running production.

  • Behaviour and gowning in the facilities, while also staying focused on deviation management and problem solving.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in microbiology, biology, dairy engineering, food engineering, or similar field.

  • Have several years of experience with EM from the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated related industry.

  • Have experience in dealing with deviations and change requests.

  • Are a PEMS superuser, which is considered a plus.

  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English and an intermediate proficiency in Danish.

 

As a person, you have a positive mindset, an independent drive and are able to take initiative to solve relevant tasks.

About the Department

At API M4, 25K Multi Product Facilities, Production Support, we support two classified API multi product facilities that produce quality products for the treatment of haemophilia among others. The department is responsible for housekeeping, cleaning, release and environmental documentation and the internal production environment. We are organized in teams with daily cooperation closely across departments, teams, and professional groups.

 

You will be part of the environmental team consisting of 18 talented and dedicated employees; 14 environmental supporters, 4 sample-takers and a facility-responsible. The team is responsible for ensuring that the environment is top-notch and that we comply with regulatory requirements, including requirements in internal procedures.
