The position

As an Automation Engineer within our pre-assembly team, you will need to ensure our production equipment adheres to Novo Nordisk requirements, compliance standards and is thoroughly documented.

In this role, you will have the chance to:

  • Investigate new production methods and support their implementation
  • Ensure compliance with the latest OT/IT security standards
  • Review technical documentation and follow up on progress related to the field of IT/OT
  • Conduct design meetings with suppliers ensuring the right technical solutions
  • Participate in troubleshooting for equipment being build and in production

This role is vital for meeting the rising global demand for our medical devices, focusing on capacity expansion of our pre-assembly team. Your expertise in complex automation systems and commitment to compliance documentation will contribute significantly to our production capabilities.

 

Qualifications

To succeed as a Senior Automation Engineer, we expect that you:

  • Hold bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, combined with previous experience from pharmaceutical industry
  • Have proven experience or a strong interest in automation systems, e.g. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), servos, machine networks, remote access or in short IT/OT
  • Have flexibility for travel as required to support global operations
  • Are detail-oriented in your approach to compliance documentation, critical in the medical device industry
  • Possess excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts and documentation practices

 

On a personal level you are a proactive learner, eager to stay current with industry regulations and documentation standards, and have the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic, internationally oriented team environment.
