The Position 
As a Project Manager in Product Control & Global Support, your role involves managing one or more projects or work packages. The nature of these projects can vary, ranging from those closely tied to enhancing our local laboratory processes to those associated with the launch and development phases of our Devices. Depending on the project, you will take the lead in guiding project teams of highly skilled engineers and specialists in charge of developing and optimizing systems and processes. 

 

You will be focusing on:

  • Effectively interacting with diverse stakeholders within Novo Nordisk and external suppliers, while managing the right balance between meeting requirements, efficient project execution, and team management.
  • Serving as the link among various workgroups, steering groups, project owners, and process overseers.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our day-to-day operations and actively engaging in tactical initiatives.

 

It will be a key factor in your success that you are curious and get an in-depth awareness of our organization and processes to be able to identify opportunities for optimization.

 

Qualifications 
To succeed in this role, we imagine you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in engineering or any other relevant field combined with a minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Possess prior experience in utilising project tools and project reporting. 
  • Have knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and a previous exposure to a QC laboratory or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrate professional proficiency in both spoken and written English.

 

On a personal level, you have good communication skills and excel in building relations. You set direction and drive performance while ensuring quality and progress by being pragmatic. Moreover, you prioritize knowledge sharing both within the team and with others, and the well-being of your project team is important to you.

Your approach to your work tasks is generally methodical and structured, yet you also demonstrate a willingness to change your plans when priorities change.

 

About the department
You will be part of FPMSAT, Product Control & Global Support, where we assist device development from the early R&D development stages into production for clinical trials and eventually into production to market. Reporting to the Department manager, you will be a member of a small group overseeing the project portfolio of the department.
