Your new role
As a Product Development Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of medical devices or combination products, with a strong focus on risk management, design control and high‑quality documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will support decision‑making in a regulated environment and help ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting product development activities from concept through implementation using structured development and design control processes
- Contributing to risk management activities in line with ISO 14971, including risk assessments and documentation
- Collaborating cross‑functionally with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and manufacturing stakeholders
- Preparing and maintaining high‑quality technical and risk documentation aligned with applicable ISO standards
- Supporting troubleshooting activities and continuous improvement initiatives across products and processes

Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect that you bring a structured mindset and a strong interest in regulated product development. You are comfortable working with documentation and can remain calm and focused in dynamic environments.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A BSc or MSc degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences or a similar relevant field
- Experience or exposure to product development, design control and/or risk management within medical devices or combination products
- Knowledge of risk management standards such as ISO 14971 and familiarity with relevant ISO requirements
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a structured and detail‑oriented approach
- The ability to collaborate effectively across functions and communicate clearly with stakeholders

Salary:
For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200 DKK to 838,100 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
