The position

As a Process Owner, you will play a critical role in improving, upgrading, and expanding mechanical production equipment and capacity, ensuring Novo Nordisk remains a house of excellence with a global production perspective. You will collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers supporting both internal and international production networks, primarily in Denmark.

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Support daily operations and resolve equipment-related production issues using systematic problem-solving approaches.
  • Drive and participate in validation activities to ensure equipment and processes meet high-quality standards.
  • Identify and implement data-driven solutions for process improvements and efficiency.
  • Contribute mechanical expertise during the design, specification, and ramp-up phases of new assembly equipment.
  • Collaborate across diverse functional areas, working with people from various backgrounds to achieve shared goals.

 

Qualifications

As a person, you are proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a production environment that requires flexibility and attention to detail. You excel at building strong relationships and communicating constructively, ensuring effective collaboration across teams. You are a dedicated “finisher” who takes pride in documenting your work thoroughly and driving tasks to completion.

 

We expect the perfect candidate to have:

  • Academic degree in production or mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a highly regulated industry managing technical responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of GMP production environments, License-to-Operate requirements, and experience with URS, FAT, and SAT processes in project management.
  • Expertise in designing and building mechanical solutions and production equipment.
  • Familiarity with CAM and servo-controlled machines, automation, and vision systems (e.g., Cognex), which is advantageous but not required.
  • Fluent in both Danish and English, enabling effective communication in a global production environment.

By joining Novo Nordisk’s Device Component Production team in Hillerød, Denmark, you become part of a key division within one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. Our team of approximately 350 colleagues is dedicated to producing the mechanical Motor Module for Novo Nordisk’s latest prefilled devices, FlexTouch® and FlexPro®. In addition to our production role, we play a critical part in introducing new device manufacturing, testing and improving production equipment and setting industry standards for external production.
