The position
As a Primary Packaging Development Engineer, you will utilise your ability to work with global cross-functional tasks while gaining a fundamental understanding of Novo Nordisk's clinical trials and products. The role includes handling clinical customer complaints, investigation of the root cause design failures, communicating with stakeholders outside of Novo Nordisk, and coordinating with relevant colleagues across the organisation.

 

Your main responsibilities will be focused on:

  • Handling and investigate in complex customer complaints, especially within the area of clinical customer complaints
  • Conducting root cause investigation of complaint devices from the clinical trials 
  • Supporting Novo Nordisk colleagues across the organisation as well as our external partners
  • Developing and implementing guidelines for handling customer complaints, including training for relevant stakeholders
  • Optimising our process for how Novo Nordisk work with customer complaints
  • Ensuring high-quality and safe products for Novo Nordisk's patients 

   

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in any engineering field (we welcome applications from new graduates)
  • Strong stakeholder management collaboration, including problem solving and continuous improvement efforts
  • Experience in product development or production and/or quality assurance, in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is an advantage
  • Experience in handling customer complaints is a plus
  • Professional proficiency in English   

 

As a person, you are comfortable with taking initiative with a ‘can do’ mind-set. You are making independent prioritisations, and you like to demonstrate attention to detail. In addition, you are a strong team player and are recognised for your interpersonal skills. 

 

The ideal candidate is structured and can systematically handle and collect data, as well as analyse root causes of design failures.

 
About the department
The Primary Packaging Development department is situated in Devices and Delivery Solutions, a business unit within the global Development organisation located in Hillerød in the greater Copenhagen area with state-of-the-art R&D facilities. Devices and Delivery Solutions has the mandate and responsibility to innovate and develop the most innovative delivery solutions for the entire portfolio of Novo Nordisk’s pharmaceutical products. The unit is comprised of project management, engineering, and technical functions spanning across all competences required to deliver on a diverse portfolio of drug/device combination product and device projects. You will be part of an organisation of highly skilled people – maybe the best in the industry.


You will join a growing, and dynamic department consisting of approximately 40 highly skilled and ambitious developers/specialists and project managers, people who work dedicated to developing and implementing primary packaging solutions in Novo Nordisk. Our department thrives in an international environment, boasting a diverse group of colleagues from across the globe representing a wide range of backgrounds and age groups. We are collaborative with colleagues, eager to support Novo Nordisk drug-project portfolio and accountable towards timelines. The atmosphere is informal.
