Moulding Engineer

Are you ready to initiate and participate in activities that optimize performance by applying LEAN principles and do you have a flair for technical problem solving in a production environment? 

 

If so, you might be our new Moulding Engineer in DMS Moulding Production Support & Improvement, part of Device Manufacturing & Sourcing at Novo Nordisk in Hillerød, Denmark.

 

The Position

As a Moulding Engineer, you will have to combine technical support and coordination responsibilities.

 

Your main tasks will include:

  • Troubleshooting and validating new molds and injection moulding processes

  • Providing technical support to operators, technicians, and other stakeholders

  • Leading improvement initiatives and implementing new initiatives

  • Coordinating and problem-solving to optimize the production facility

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Engineering.

  • Experience or strong interest in injection moulding and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Full professional proficiency in English and Danish.

 

On a personal level, you are independent, proactive and able to manage as well as prioritize challenging status quo and drive continuous improvement, taking the lead on improvements and implementing new initiatives.

 

About the department

DMS Moulding Production in Hillerød, Denmark, is responsible for ensuring efficient manufacturing of high-quality molded plastic components for our FlexTouch® and FlexPro® penfills at our in-house production facility.

 

Production Support & Improvement is a team established to ensure focus and progress on continuous improvement activities within the department. We are a committed team driving initiatives related to quality, OEE, EHS and automation, and we are all dedicated to ensuring quality, compliance and efficiency.
