The position
As Manager for Technical team, you will be responsible for currently 12 dedicated employees with strong professional experience whose main task is to execute all activities from ordering equipment at Danish and international equipment manufacturers to handover to the manufacturing organisations in a global CMO network.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure:

  • Employee and team motivation and engagement through coaching and sparring
  • Development of skills and training of employees
  • Setting and implementing technical and strategic direction for the team
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Timely execution of equipment commissioning projects
  • Effective and data-driven problem solving, with the application of cLEAN principles

In your role as Manager, you will become part of the department’s leadership team of currently 4 leaders, a department assistant, and the department head. We oversee and deliver to a large project portfolio and play an active role in many different projects with high technical complexity and involvement with many internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in this position, you should meet these main qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • A degree in Engineering (e.g. mechanical/production), Science, or another relevant field
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is a clear advantage
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus and so is knowledge of operation of automated production equipment and validation
  • Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing, and proficient in Danish, which is a plus

As your team members often travel to equipment suppliers and production sites, you must have a strong ability to maintain a well-connected and collaborating team although the full team will only meet physically now and then.

You should expect 10-20 days of travel a year.

 

About the department
You will join the department Component Capacity Expansion, part of Finished Products Manufacturing, Science and Technology (FPMSAT) in Hillerød, Denmark. We are currently 60+ highly motivated colleagues, working in 5 teams. The department, including this team, will expand further in the future.

We are responsible for technical sourcing and commissioning of new moulding equipment for plastic components in the global network of Equipment Suppliers and Contract Manufactures to ensure production capacity expansion of plastic components across device platforms.
