The Position
As Manager for SecPack Design Development, you will manage a team of 10 skilled engineers from seven nationalities, bringing diverse experiences and a strong, collaborative mindset. Additionally, you will:
• Challenge the status quo and identify and implement solutions to support optimization and digitalization of SecPack processes internally within the team and externally with key stakeholders.
• Further develop and set the direction for our global support setup for our production sites.
• Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across the three teams in SecPack (Design Development, Design Control, SecPack PMO) and engage with key stakeholders.
• Practice a LEAN mindset.
• Lead your team according to NNWay.
You will be part of the SecPack leadership team, which consists of a Senior Manager and two Managers. We discuss specific topics daily, support each other and the teams, and lead by example while having fun. Our stakeholder landscape is complex and includes all global production sites, QA, DDS (Device Research & Development), Regulatory Affairs, Strategic Sourcing, external suppliers, and Capacity Expansion, among others.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
• A Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Natural Sciences, or another relevant scientific discipline.
• GxP experience from pharmaceutical production settings or another regulated industry.
• Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience and a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects in a global setting.
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.

About the Department
Finished Product Manufacturing Science and Technology (FPMSAT) bridges product development to production and drives the development and standardization of new, smarter packaging components and processes. Additionally, we are responsible for establishing packaging capacity worldwide for new and marketed products in compliance with current regulatory requirements, working closely with Novo Nordisk’s global production sites. We have an end-to-end presence from device development to production implementation and support for ongoing production. FPMSAT Packaging is located in both Allerød and Hillerød and consists of around 170 employees divided into different teams.
