The Position
As Manager for Packaging Validation, you will lead and inspire a team of approximately 19 validation engineers and specialists. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning the team’s efforts with our strategic goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
Furthermore, you will:

  • Act as a strategic people leader, enabling your team to deliver on standardisation goals and CAPEX project milestones.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, inclusiveness, and continuous development by aligning team capabilities with organisational values.
  • Champion standardisation of the validation process within manufacturing across global operations.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment and synergy across departments and stakeholders.
  • Set a clear vision and direction for the team, optimising resource use and driving accountability.

 

You will report directly to the Director of Packaging Engineering and play a key role in shaping the department’s strategic direction and validation roadmap.
Global travel is expected to be approximately 10–15 days per year.
You will be part of a leadership team together with 3 other managers and an admin assistant. 

 

Qualifications
We are looking for a leader who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
  • Has proven experience in people management, ideally within a regulated industry (e.g. pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automotive, aerospace).
  • Demonstrates a strong track record in leading change and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Brings experience or interest within Science- and risk based validation (preferred but not essential).
  • Is fluent in English, both written and spoken.

About the Department
You will join FPMSAT and the Packaging Engineering department—an essential bridge between Packaging R&D and production. We are responsible for developing and implementing global manufacturing capacity for both new and existing products.
Our team, based in Hillerød and Allerød, includes over 70 highly skilled professionals. We are engaged in strategic projects that influence Novo Nordisk’s ability to deliver life-changing products, ensure compliance, and build the factory of the future.
