The Position

As a Manager for Calibration and Maintenance at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be a part of the management group in the line of business.

  • Plan, design, and implement maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment.

  • Coordinate maintenance engineering work, including reviewing mechanical and electrical engineering specifications, and performing engineering reviews of proposed new equipment designs.

  • Liaise with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections, and the supply of new equipment.

  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

  • Perform operational maintenance and repair of equipment in production areas.

  • Establish a new team.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A degree within engineering or a related field.

  • +2 years of experience working as a people manager.

  • Proven experience in planning and implementing maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English and Danish.

You possess leadership and interpersonal skills, can engage people, build trust, and get commitment from your team and stakeholders to support your projects and drive change. You are comfortable in a rapid changing and dynamic work environment and can prioritize and not lose sight of the bigger picture.

 

About the Department

Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ app. 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.

 

Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, which is a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. In BRD, we are not only supplying all Novo Nordisk products to people living with serious chronic diseases, but we also use our competences in biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. We are more than 3400 dedicated colleagues working at six production sites in Denmark and the United States. Here we cover the entire production value chain where raw materials are cultivated, purified, formulated, filled, assembled in devices, packed, and distributed across the globe.
