The position

GCMD is a newly established area where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that GCMD is adopting a Lean mindset, this entails mapping, improving and possibly creating new processes aligned with company policy and area strategy. You collaborate closely with your stakeholders, and sometimes navigating uncertainty.

 

As Lean Partner you will drive the Lean Roadmap including:

  • Ensure a relevant portfolio of projects and initiatives exist to realise the shared vision of process excellence
  • Advise GCMD management on implementing Operational Excellence principles and systems as well as aid with e.g. visual management setup and organizing work efficiently
  • Coach leaders and employees on new ways of working, identify Lean ambassadors and ensure ample coaching capacity for cLEAN Training in GCMD
  • Map, develop and implement best practice to enhance operational efficiency and process excellence across GCMD
  • Develop skills and capabilities in your colleagues, equipping them to execute OE initiatives in GCMD
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and representation of GCMD in parent organisation networks

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we believe you:

  • Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Have a solid toolbox for improving processes, continuous improvement, mapping processes and driving workshops
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on successful experience with implementing Lean or OE in an administrative/office environment
  • Possess solid communication, coaching & training skills
  • Display fluency in both spoken and written English

 

On a personal level, you are a purpose-driven, strategic individual with strong collaboration and analytical skills. You have a structured approach to project management combined with a focus on change management when introducing new ideas. You are proactive in approaching stakeholders, and communicate clearly and obtain buy-in. Additionally, you have a natural curiosity to explore new ways of working and setting direction, skillfully collaborating across departments, navigating uncertainties, and improving internal processes.

 

About the department

As a Lean Partner in GCMD, you will join the Business Support Department, responsible for driving strategic and functional agendas in GCMD, including quality, digitalisation, IT, and training. Collaborating with dedicated colleagues within the functional area will be integral to day-to-day activities.
