The position

As an IL OT Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving operational readiness activities ensuring seamless operations for new warehouse and intralogistics (WH/IL) solutions globally. Your role will include supporting and developing automation systems to ensure that our production lines will be able to smoothly operate new automated WH/IL solutions.

 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Take ownership and proactively prepare the sites for Operational Readiness
  • Solving challenging problems in close collaboration with automation specialists and technicians from production sites
  • Support planning and executing all related OT tasks
  • Develop your knowledge to challenge existing automation systems and solutions, identifying the most innovative OT solutions and implement them to ensure operational excellence
  • Drive elements of the quality, digitalisation, and connectivity journey together with the technical work packages, QA and other key stakeholders

 

Joining this team means being a part of the innovative effort to build Novo Nordisk’s warehouse and material handling system of the future expansion projects. You will collaborate with a broad variety of stakeholders to secure adequate implementation of our projects.

 

Some travel globally will be expected for this position.

 

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has a great understanding about the OT in general, as well as knowledge of OR activities and IL/MH processes, and is able to take ownership and drive operational excellence in a global setting.

 

Furthermore, we imagine you have:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree within automation or related fields
  • Experience from a similar role preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills, with a result-oriented, structured, and detail-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Solid experience within automated IL/MH systems and good level of knowledge about Siemens PLC’s, Factory talk View, Rockwell or other relevant
  • Experience with IT architect
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, Danish is considered an advantage

Your adaptability, attention to detail, and can-do-attitude, combined with exceptional stakeholder management experience, enable you to build strong relationships and navigate complex cross-functional settings. We expect that you can solve task both independently and as part of a team.

 

About the department

You will be joining Global IL Performance team anchored in Finished Product Manufacturing Engineering (FPME). Our team is ensuring fit-for-purpose WH/IL solutions across Finished Products Manufacturing (FPM) and Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) operations. Based in Denmark, our team collaborates globally (sites in Denmark, US, Brazil, France, Italy, China etc.) across existing and expansion FPM/AM projects.
