IT Solution Manager

Category:  Digital & IT
Location:

Hillerød, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Are you passionate about managing complex IT systems that keep production running smoothly and securely? We are now looking for two IT Solution Managers to join our team in DMN IT. One of the positions will spend the first year fully dedicated to supporting key IT‑related projects, while the other will focus on system operations from day one. If you thrive in a dynamic, production‑close environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Your new role

As one of our new IT Solution Managers, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of IT systems that directly support our production processes. Depending on the position, you will either step into project‑focused responsibilities for the first year or move immediately into steady‑state operational system ownership. Depending on experience, the role may be suited for both junior and senior profiles, with responsibilities and scope adjusted accordingly.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of IT systems, including documentation, validation, compliance tasks, patch management and IT risk assessments.
  • Supporting the running business through incident handling, escalations and daily collaboration with production and engineering teams.
  • Acting as the main liaison for suppliers and service partners, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with standards.
  • Driving system changes and upgrades, including participation in validation activities and creation of structured documentation.
  • Maintaining a regular on‑site presence near production (weekly and occasionally more) to support equipment‑ and system‑related IT.

The roles are based in Hillerød, with the project‑focused position primarily based in Allerød.

Your new department

You will join DMN IT, a collaborative team managing IT infrastructure, system management, IT security and digitalisation across the Device Manufacturing & NPI area. We work closely with production, QA, engineering and global IT to ensure stable and compliant operations. You will be part of a skilled and supportive environment that values knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • An academic background within IT, engineering or another technical IT field.
  • Experience working with large or complex IT systems, including structured documentation and systematic processes.
  • A strong preference for working with equipment‑ and system‑related IT, not documentation‑only roles.
  • Experience in regulated or process‑driven environments (e.g., pharma, GxP) or similar structured settings.
  • Excellent stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to collaborate closely with many different interfaces.

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience with validation of IT systems or production‑related environments.
  • Familiarity with MES, infrastructure, servers or equipment‑related IT systems.
  • Background from pharma or other regulated industries (preferred, not required).

On a personal level, you excel at stakeholder management and enjoy collaborating with many colleagues across teams every day. You bring a natural can‑do mindset, adapt easily to changing situations, and approach challenges with a practical, solution‑oriented attitude. Your positivity, proactiveness and ownership make you a strong partner in a busy, production‑close environment.
