Advanced API Manufacturing Professional (HVAC Responsible)

Global Manufacturing & Supply
API Manufacturing
Hillerød, Denmark

Keep critical environments running flawlessly and ensure the medicines patients depend on are produced to the highest standard, every single day.

We are looking for an HVAC Responsible to drive qualification, coordination, and compliance for critical systems supporting Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing in Hillerød. If you enjoy combining technical insight with stakeholder collaboration in a GMP environment, this could be your next opportunity. Apply today and help us safeguard the environments where life-changing medicines are made.

Your new role

As our new HVAC Responsible, you will play a central role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of the HVAC systems that support our API manufacturing facilities. You will own the qualification lifecycle – from planning through execution to reporting – and act as the key coordinator between internal teams and external partners whenever HVAC qualifications are carried out.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing qualifications related to changes and re-qualifications of the systems supplying HVAC to facilities and various equipment
  • Planning, executing and reporting on re-qualifications in close collaboration with your HVAC colleagues
  • Coordinating and communicating with external partners and various on-site teams before and during HVAC qualification activities
  • Handling deviations and change control cases related to the HVAC area
  • Scheduling and aligning qualification activities around ongoing production to minimise operational disruption
  • Participating in inspections and audits as part of supporting both marketed products and products on the way to market
  • Ensuring all qualification documentation meets GxP standards and regulatory expectations

To succeed in this role, you should bring strong planning and coordination skills and enjoy working in a collaborative, stakeholder-facing role.

Your new department

In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

You will join 25K Facility Support in API Manufacturing, a multipurpose environment that serves both existing marketed products and products on their way to market. The department supports two separate production facilities, giving you exposure to a broad range of qualification challenges and the opportunity to contribute across multiple product stages. It is a dynamic setting where your coordination skills will make a real difference to day-to-day operations and long-term compliance.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives on coordination and takes pride in keeping complex systems compliant and running smoothly. You will bring with you:

  • A Master's degree in engineering, life science or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in GxP pharmaceutical production, preferably with HVAC responsibilities
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across different levels of stakeholders
  • A curious and systematic approach to problem-solving
  • A strong ability to plan and coordinate qualification activities within a dynamic production environment, balancing compliance requirements with operational timelines

As a person, you are robust, structured, solution-oriented, and confident navigating a dynamic production environment where priorities can shift and compliance remains essential.
