GMP Professional

Location: Hilleroed , Denmark
Contract: Permanent

Are you motivated by quality and enjoy bringing structure to complex processes? Do you have a strong eye for detail while also being comfortable stepping onto the shop floor, talking to colleagues and finding practical solutions? Are you looking for an opportunity to build your career within GMP and quality in a global pharmaceutical organisation?

Then you could be our new GMP Professional in GL&D Warehouse Support.

The position

As a GMP Professional, you will join our Operational Support team and play an important role in ensuring quality and compliance across our raw material warehouse operations.

This is a varied position combining daily shop floor GMP support with responsibility for Local Records Management. You will work closely with colleagues across the warehouse to resolve operational quality issues, maintain compliant processes and ensure that materials continue to move through the supply chain safely and efficiently.

You do not need to be an experienced GMP specialist to succeed in this position. We are open to candidates at the beginning of their careers who have the right educational background, quality mindset and motivation to learn. You will receive the training needed to develop your knowledge of our GMP and GDP requirements and processes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily GMP and quality support to the warehouse organisation.
  • Taking ownership of Local Records Management and ensuring documentation and archives remain organised, accurate and compliant.
  • Supporting the shop floor when quality or compliance issues arise and working       directly with operators and other colleagues to identify practical solutions.
  • Handling deviations and batch stops and supporting the activities required to resolve and close them.
  • Preparing and handling change requests relating to quality and compliance.
  • Performing process confirmations and supporting follow-up activities arising from deviations.
  • Maintaining and updating SOPs and other controlled documentation.
  • Supporting audits and inspections and representing the area when interacting with inspectors and authorities.
  • Collaborating with local QA and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and activities are completed right first time.
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen compliance and improve existing processes.
  • Contributing to cross-functional activities and projects relating to warehousing, raw materials, API and transportation.

The role combines independent responsibility with close collaboration. Once fully trained, you will be trusted to assess situations, make decisions within your mandate and drive solutions forward.

Approximately one day per week, you will provide dedicated shop floor GMP support. This means leaving your desk, putting on the required protective equipment and working directly with operators and other colleagues to resolve issues as they happen.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a Master's degree within a relevant scientific, pharmaceutical, technical or other related discipline.
  • Have approximately 0–3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Have an interest in quality, compliance and working within a regulated environment.
  • Have strong attention to detail and enjoy creating structure and keeping                documentation organised.
  • Are comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions once appropriately trained.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Are able to communicate effectively in Danish, as you will work directly with Danish-speaking colleagues on the shop floor.

Previous experience with GMP, GDP, pharmaceutical quality, warehousing or supply chain is an advantage but is not a requirement. Experience from another regulated or highly structured environment may also be relevant.

Most importantly, you have the mindset and motivation to learn.

As a person

You are structured, detail oriented and have a strong quality mindset. You enjoy having things in order and understand that accurate documentation and disciplined processes are fundamental in a regulated environment.

At the same time, you are not someone who wants to spend every day behind a desk. You are comfortable going onto the shop floor, speaking with different groups of colleagues and taking ownership when an operational issue needs to be resolved.

You are self-driven and solution oriented, with the confidence to make decisions within your area of responsibility. You communicate clearly, collaborate well with others and are able to challenge or influence stakeholders constructively when quality or compliance requirements need to be met.

About the department

You will join GL&D Warehouse Support, a support function within our raw material warehouse organisation.

The department consists of approximately 30 colleagues and forms part of a wider warehouse organisation of around 100 employees. You will join a support team of approximately 10 colleagues who work together to ensure that warehouse operations remain compliant and that the flow of materials continues efficiently.

The team has a mixture of experience levels, with colleagues relatively early in their careers alongside more experienced team members.

Your closest stakeholders will include warehouse operators, other professional colleagues and local QA. You will have your own areas of responsibility while also sharing GMP support activities with the wider team.

Why Novo Nordisk?

This is an opportunity to build a career in GMP and quality while gaining hands-on exposure to an important part of Novo Nordisk's supply chain.

You will be given responsibility early, while receiving the training and support needed to develop your knowledge. As your experience grows, there will be opportunities to take responsibility for other areas within the team and potentially develop into positions elsewhere within the organisation.

If you enjoy combining quality and compliance with practical problem solving and working with people, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible contribution to our daily operations.
