The Position

As a Future User Communication Platforms Developer, your involvement starts early in device development projects. It is our responsibility to develop the Instructions for Use (IFUs) and Medical Device labeling, ensuring that our patients feel supported and act safe when using Novo Nordisk A/S devices. The solutions we deliver range from Printed instructions to eLabeling and Video based solutions.

You will be collaborating closely with a wide and diverse range colleagues from the Devices and Delivery Solutions teams such as Design, Usability, and User Communication Life Cycle Management, but also with cross-organizational stakeholders such as Medical & Science, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial and key affiliates, managing many different perspectives across the value chain


Your main accountabilities will

  • Develop User Communication (Instructions For Use) concepts in early device development projects through an iterative process.
  • Develop and maintain platform Instructions for Use (IFUs) and Medical Device Labelling for all Novo Nordisk Devices, SaMD (Software as Medical Device), and Devices for Clinical Trials, including electronic solutions and Videos.
  • Ensure that design input gathered in handling studies is interpreted and translated into concrete improvements of the IFU.
  • Coordinate the graphical development for IFUs in close collaboration with Graphic Designers.
  • Proofread User Communication materials and developed processes for User Communication.
  • Understand the regulatory requirements from key markets and ensure that these are incorporated into your IFU concept.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we imagine you

  • hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Design, Linguistics, or Social sciences.
  • possess a patient-centric mindset, coupled with the ability to conceptualize platform solutions that ensure scalability and efficiency for future development projects.
  • bring a background that may include familiarity with project work, Design Thinking, stakeholder management, clinical trials, digital communication, human factors engineering, user experience, and/or labeling regulations is preferred.
  • demonstrate project management experience.
  • proficiency in English, strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to question and challenge the status quo are essential.

In Devices and Delivery Solutions, we have more than +450 colleagues designing and developing innovative device and connectivity products and digital therapeutic solutions to our drug pipeline. DDS has a strong record for onboarding non-local new employees and we welcome non-local applicants, willing to relocate to Denmark.

The Future User Communication Platform team sits within the broader area of Secondary Packaging Development & Technical Writing in Packaging & Verification Development. We are a group of 8 highly dedicated and committed employees with a shared passion for creating patient-centric User Communication

Our newly established team is currently working on defining best practices for how we should work going forward. We continuously aim to simplify and improve, hence an eye for process improvements and challenging the status quo is highly appreciated.
