About the Position 

As our new  skilled Full Stack Engineer, you will join our Operational Technology (OT) team.  You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solution used for data collection and manufacturing intelligence across Novo Nordisk. Moreover, you will collaborate with engineers, managers, process supporters and other business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions that drive digital transformation in our production environments. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop and Maintain codebases for solutions, including backend services, frontend applications, and infrastructure. 

  • Implement and optimize user interfaces for system managers, engineers, process supporters, project managers and others. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and deliver new features. 

  • Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. 

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production and development environments. 

  • Contribute to DevOps practices, including containerization, orchestration, and deployment pipelines. 

  • Document technical solutions and provide knowledge sharing within the team. 

 

Qualifications 

We expect you to have:  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, with  5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role. 

  • Proficiency in both front-end (e.g., React) and back-end technologies (such as Node.js, .Net Core, or Java/Spring Boot). 

  • Experience with containerization tools (like Docker or Podman), databases (SQL, e.g., PostgreSQL), and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team across various environments (Linux and Windows). 

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, orchestration tools (Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code principles (e.g., Ansible). 

Additionally, it is desirable that you have experience with Manufacturing & Data, including familiarity with industrial protocols for manufacturing such as Kafka, OPC-UA, or MQTT, knowledge of IT security in manufacturing environments, and expertise in data analytics, machine learning, or manufacturing intelligence solutions. Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing regulatory requirements will also be a plus.
