The position
We are looking for a highly competent Quality Control Professional with a passion for equipment to join our team. We are responsible for ensuring that all the equipment in the department is ready for analysis and that required maintenance is completed timely. As part of the team you will be responsible for qualifying new equipment, manage small projects and optimize laboratory workflows. Your tasks will also include close collaboration with technicians and chemists to ensure that industry standards and regulations are met. You can expect a dynamic work environment where priorities may shift quickly, requiring teamwork to address the most important deliveries.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Professional responsibility of our laboratory equipment, e.g., HPLC, UPLC, MS, TOC, spectrophotometer, and analytical balances
- Participation in and facilitation of systematic problem solving (SPS) during deviation handling
- Continuous improvement and optimization of our processes using LEAN principles
- Implementation of new digital and automated processes in the QC laboratory to improve the workflow of current processes
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- MSc Degree as Engineer, Chemist, Pharmacist or similar
- Experience from the pharmaceutical industry within a GMP regulated environment will be an advantage
- In depth knowledge and curiosity of the daily equipment related operations in the laboratory
- Professional proficiency in both Danish and English

About the department
The QC department in the area Injectable Finished Products (IFP) consists of 65 employees divided into 4 teams. We perform a wide range of chemical drug product analysis, as well as mechanical injection tests on insulin pens. We work with many stakeholders across the organization and have a broad interface with other QC areas in Novo Nordisk.
Daily delivery of analytical results is in focus and the working pace is high. We continuously look to optimise and stabilise our processes to improve lead time. To ensure that medicine reaches the patients in due time, one of the focus areas in QC is not to be delaying the final release of the products. To ensure that this focus is kept, maintenance of world class QC equipment is a key responsibility.
