The position
As an Equipment & Validation Project Manager in the Equipment & Computed Tomography (CT) team, you will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive overview of all our equipment to ensure stable and reliable operations and you will contribute to the continuous improvement of day-to-day operations and engaging in tactical initiatives.
Your main tasks will be focused on:
- Coordinating the maintenance and development of automated test equipment with external suppliers and internal departments
- Managing the overall test equipment portfolio, including forecasting and planning for maintenance, acquisition, and decommissioning
- Advising management on equipment updates and purchases
- Mapping and prioritizing equipment development tasks across the T&V department
- Developing business cases for investments in new equipment
- Managing multiple complex equipment-related projects, guiding teams of highly skilled engineers and specialists and interacting with various stakeholders within Novo Nordisk and external suppliers
Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
- A master’s degree in engineering or any other relevant field
- A minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in a regulated industry
- Deep technical understanding of validated equipment
- Excellent stakeholder management and planning skills
- Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Experience with managing multiple complex equipment

You should have strong communication skills, excel in building relationships, and demonstrate a methodical and structured approach to work tasks. You should be pragmatic, prioritize knowledge sharing, and be collaborative, able to work effectively within a team.
About the department
You will join the Testing & Verification department in Devices and Delivery Solutions (DDS), which plays an important role in the medical device and primary packaging development process. We deliver specialised exploratory testing and design verifications. Our responsibility includes specifying, developing, purchasing, and validating new test equipment to support and conduct verification testing of medical devices. Our team consists of 55 passionate colleagues with diverse backgrounds, including laboratory technicians, engineers, and specialists. The department is anchored in the DDS organisation, known for developing the best, most innovative, and widely used injection devices in the world. We ensure that user insights and innovation go hand in hand with a strong quality mindset.
