Your new role
As an Equipment & Qualification Professional in the Mammalian Cell Bank, you will be responsible for ensuring that equipment and systems remain qualified, compliant, and ready to support operations. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will drive qualification activities, support equipment lifecycle management, and contribute to reliable GMP operations.
A significant focus of the role during the coming period will be qualification of equipment supporting cell bank activities. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that critical equipment is implemented, qualified, and ready to support current and future development activities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Owning and supporting GMP production and laboratory equipment to ensure reliable and compliant operation
- Planning, coordinating, and executing equipment qualification activities for new and existing equipment
- Supporting operations through deviation handling, change requests, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and implementation of corrective actions
- Participating in equipment-related projects, including implementation, upgrades, and optimisation activities
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, and other support functions
- Supporting audits and inspections by providing technical expertise and documentation within your area of responsibility
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance, compliance, and operational robustness
- Participating in a rotational on-call duty (approximately every 6th week) supporting critical cell bank equipment and freezer systems

Within GMS you will join the Cell Banks team. The team is responsible for manufacturing and maintaining the cell banks that serve as the biological starting material for Novo Nordisk’s therapies.

Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:
- Hold an academic degree within Engineering, Natural Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related discipline
- Have experience with qualification of equipment in a GMP-regulated environment
- Have experience working with technical equipment and enjoy solving technical challenges
- Can independently plan, structure, and execute tasks while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across functions
- Take ownership of your responsibilities and have a strong quality mindset

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200.00 to 838,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
