Join our Environmental Monitoring Support team in Hillerød and gain hands-on experience in aseptic production, quality support, and stakeholder collaboration. This 1-year maternity cover position offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation for a career within Novo Nordisk while working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and learning-focused environment.
Your New Role
As our new Environmental Monitoring Supporter, you will become part of a team responsible for supporting environmental monitoring activities and ensuring a high level of compliance within aseptic production.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting production through review activities, investigations, documentation and compliance-related tasks.
- Contributing to deviations, change requests, validations and trend analyses to ensure robust quality standards.
- Collaborating closely with operators, production teams, QA and other key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Working closely with other departments on ramp-up activities and process optimisation after production starts.
This position provides broad exposure to manufacturing operations, quality systems and stakeholder management. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems and navigating a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
Your New Department
You will join the Environmental Monitoring Support team within Aseptic Production in Hillerød. The team consists of 13 dedicated employees with diverse scientific backgrounds who work closely together to ensure environmental monitoring standards and aseptic behaviour compliance across the production area.
The department is characterised by a strong team culture, knowledge sharing and a genuine commitment to developing people. Several team members joined directly from university and have since built successful careers through structured training, mentoring and on-the-job learning.
As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to develop professional skills, build a strong network and contribute to the production of medicines that improve the lives of patients around the world.
Your Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:
- Hold a degree in microbiology, biology, marine biology, pharmacy, veterinary science, biotechnology or another relevant scientific discipline.
- Possess a strong interest in microbiology, environmental monitoring or GMP-regulated production.
- Communicate fluently in English and Danish.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment where stakeholder collaboration and flexibility are essential.
- Are curious, proactive and eager to learn while taking ownership of your professional development.
Experience within aseptic production, microbiology laboratories, environmental monitoring or other regulated industries is considered an advantage but is not a requirement.
