The position

 

As CVP Health & Safety you will be responsible for leading the Health and Safety (H&S) agenda across Device Components Manufacturing (DCM). You will work mainly on the management level and locally with engaged H&S representatives (OHRs) and strategically with other H&S Partners in the network. You will also act as an advisor to the Corporate Vice President of DMS on H&S topics.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement the Health & Safety strategy in alignment with ISO14001, ISO45001, OHSAS 18001, and Novo Nordisk Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures.
  • Define, optimize, and execute processes that enhance Health & Safety performance while fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Drive and support the EHS organization (OHRs) to ensure effective safety management.
  • Oversee audits, reporting, risk assessments, and workplace evaluations to maintain high safety standards.
  • Develop and strengthen the Health & Safety network, provide specialist support in areas like ergonomics and machine safety, and enhance the local EHS management system.

 

You will report to the Associate Manager of Facility & EHS placed in the Production Support department.

 

Qualifications

The job requires a very high degree of independence and makes influence matter across the organisation. This includes e.g. handling change management and setting direction for the local EHS organisation and challenging the Management team on priorities.


It needs that as a person, you are ambitious, structured, and have a passion for Health and Safety. You approach tasks with a positive attitude, consider multiple perspectives, and deliver high-quality results. You thrive with a mix of both strategic and hands-on tasks surrounded by colleagues that support each other and value a sustainable work-life balance.

To succeed in this position, you should:

  • Hold a relevant master’s degree or other relevant education.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of Health and Safety from a production or laboratory environment. Experience from a people leadership role in a production or laboratory environment is also an advantage.
  • Have knowledge about legislative requirements and standards like ISO14001 & ISO45001.
  • Be able to influence business objectives and strategic projects to reflect health and safety priorities, with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and informal leadership skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, with a good understanding of Danish.

As a CVP H&S Partner, you will be part of the dynamic and evolving Device Components Manufacturing (DCM) unit placed in Hillerød.

Device Component Manufacturing (DCM) is the unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, who is leading in component manufacturing of tomorrow’s devices for Novo Nordisk patients helping millions of people around the world to live with chronical diseases.
