The position

As an Automation Technician, you will play a central role in maintaining our DeltaV/ PCS systems and other supporting applications while ensuring the stability and efficient operation of our production. In addition, you will support production with your colleagues and help with problem-solving.

 

You will work with people from different backgrounds, like operators, skilled workers, QA, managers, and specialists. You will develop in the team with DeltaV and act as go-to person when complexity increase.

 

Key responsibilities would be to:

  • Support day-to-day operations and contribute to the efficient execution of our manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and code updates to optimize our production processes within DeltaV.
  • Participate in projects and provide input on automation solutions to our stakeholders.
  • Qualify changes in the system and ensure QA Department approvals.
  • Troubleshoot and test system deviations in production.

 

Qualifications

Whatever your background, it is a prerequisite that you have a strong desire to achieve knowledge and provide the best solutions in close cooperation with our production.

 

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • Technical education within IT, automation, or similar.
  • Experience within the operation of manufacturing processes and DeltaV.
  • Virtual server environments knowledge e.g.: Microsoft Hyper-V, OPC, and SQL databases (a plus).
  • Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

About the department

As our new colleague, you will join Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) as part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply. This is a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. In BRD we are not only supplying all Novo Nordisk products for Rare Diseases but also using our competencies in Biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. We are approx. 2500 colleagues committed to drive change for people with serious chronic diseases.
