The Position
As an Automation Engineer in the NPI & Capacity Expansion Team, you will need to ensure our production equipment adheres to Novo Nordisk requirements, compliance standards and is thoroughly documented e.g. by: 
•    Review of technical documentation.
•    Design meetings with suppliers ensuring the right technical solutions.
•    Participate in troubleshooting for equipment being build and in production.
•    Follow up on progress related to the field of IT/OT  
This role is vital for meeting the rising global demand for our medical devices, focusing on capacity expansion while also facilitating the launch of new product systems. Your expertise in automation systems and commitment to compliance documentation will contribute significantly to our production capabilities.

 

Qualifications
To succeed as an Automation Engineer role, we expect that you:
•    Hold bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
•    Have proven experience or a strong interest in automation systems, e.g. PLCs, machine networks, remote access or in short IT/OT.
•    Have flexibility for travel as required to support global operations.
•    Are a detail-oriented approach to compliance documentation, critical in the medical device industry.
•    Have an excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts and documentation practices.

 

On a personal level you are a proactive learner, eager to stay current with industry regulations and documentation standards and you have an ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
