The position 
In the automation area of Robotics & Operational Technology our overall purpose is to design automation solutions and integrate new manufacturing technologies and innovative solutions at Novo Nordisk production sites across the world. 

We are currently experiencing increasing demand for new production lines, and we need more team members to help us reach our goals. We are working with machine vendors globally and collaborating with several vendors to push the limits of new technologies.  

 

To reach our goals we need you to:
•    Participate in projects or programs that develops new production lines 
•    Ensure integration of new manufacturing technologies and be able to explain the technologies and the value they create to both vendors and internal Novo Nordisk stakeholders 
•    Engage in technical discussions with our production sites, process experts and machine vendors 
•    Provide input for documentation e.g. IFAs, URS, IT risk assessment 
•    Participate in internal development projects to ensure a pipeline of scalable solutions 

 

About the department 
Robotics & Operational Technology is a growing department, within Device Manufacturing Development, consisting of highly skilled people in the domain of robotics, project execution, transport, intratogistics and automation. We are an innovative department who strive to meet complex needs in the Novo Nordisk production facilities. By utilizing the capabilities and skills in our department, we ensure that Novo Nordisk gain the benefits of modern technology and stay at the forefront of manufacturing technology.

Qualifications 
We are looking for someone with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset as well as solid technical experience from the automation industry. As you will be working and collaborating with people from various departments in the organization, both local and international, you are preferably an outgoing person who is ready to take the lead on finding opportunities for implementation. 
For the role of Automation Engineer, we look for both junior and more senior profiles.

 

We look forward to meeting candidates who ideally have: 
•    A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering 
•    A strong technical background, preferably within automation and/or operational technology 
•    3-5 years of experience from a role as automation engineer or similar 
•    Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage, but not a prerequisite 
•    Fluent in English both oral and written
