Agile Coach in the Novo Nordisk Digital Accelerator

The position

Most of your day-to-day work will be carried out in one of the Digital Lighthouses. Your responsibilities are to apply your agile competences and experiences through coaching and mentoring of the Lighthouse team(s), helping them to realize their potential, and to deliver quality digital products of value to the business. You will among other things do this by setting up and adjusting the ceremonies.


You will act as an influencer and catalyst in promoting an agile culture throughout the Lighthouse and its surrounding area. This requires you to be curious about the organisation, the people within, how they collaborate, and how to create a reflecting and learning culture. The work includes leadership coaching and sparring with various units on adapting an agile approach and mindset.


You will be part of a network of Agile Coaches, where you will share learnings and knowledge to further develop yourself and your peers, and to bring back experiences from the teams and share them with the central organisation, to ensure that our on-going organisational development is aligned with the needs of the teams. 



  • You have a Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science or similar field of study.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in coaching and leading agile teams, either as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach. You are well-versed with Scrum and DevOps practices, and adapt your approach and choice of techniques to the contexts and people that you encounter.
  • Given that we have embarked on a transformational journey, you are able to proactively identify and drive larger improvement initiatives and influence the overall strategic direction of the organisation. You effectively build followership and coach leaders in cutting organisational complexity to simplify the ways we build digital products to address the challenges of our colleagues and our patients.
  • As a person, you are empathic and energetic, and excel in an environment with a high degree of empowerment. You are able to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and actively drive cross-collaborative initiatives and build communities. Your communication skills are high and you feel confident presenting to larger audiences. Overall, you are passionate about agile ways of working, and are eager to deliver value with your unique skillset.
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
