As an Advanced Test Engineer, you will plan, execute and document design verification activities for medical devices and primary packaging. Working with project teams, you will ensure products meet defined requirements and regulatory expectations through robust, data-driven testing. Your work will help bring reliable, patient-focused devices closer to the people living with serious chronic diseases who depend on them.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative mindset. You should have:

• A degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Pharmaceutical Engineering, or another relevant scientific or technical discipline.

• Experience planning, coordinating and reporting testing or verification activities within product development projects.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• The ability to collaborate across functions and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Useful, but not essential:

• Experience within medical devices, regulated environments, design control, verification methodologies or quality systems. We also value curiosity, adaptability and a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.

What you'll do

You will act as a technical specialist, ensuring high-quality deliverables while balancing timelines, risks and business priorities. In this role you will:

• Lead design verification testing and shelf-life studies across development projects.

• Develop, review and execute test protocols, analyse results and communicate conclusions to stakeholders.

• Define and support verification strategies that ensure product requirements are verified throughout the development lifecycle.

• Drive continuous improvements in test methods, processes, tools and ways of working.

• Collaborate with specialists and project teams across product development, quality, manufacturing and regulatory functions.

Who you'll work with

You will join Device Verification Development, part of Device Development Innovation in Hillerød. The department is responsible for exploratory testing, design verification testing and quality control specifications across Novo Nordisk's portfolio of devices, primary packaging and oral products.

Your team of skilled engineers and laboratory professionals delivers reliable test data and technical insights that shape product development decisions. You will work closely with colleagues across Development, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, in an environment built on knowledge sharing, scientific curiosity and continuous improvement.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200 to 838,100 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. Placement within the range is assessed during recruitment based on the candidate's skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience.
