If so, this is your opportunity to join Device Manufacturing New Product Introduction (DMN) at Novo Nordisk in Hillerød as our new Advanced EHS Professional.
 
 
The Position
As an Advanced EHS Professional, you will be a key driver of the EHS agenda in close collaboration with a small, dedicated EHS team. You will spend the majority of your time strengthening Health & Safety (approx. 90%), while also contributing to environmental and sustainability initiatives (approx. 10%).
 
Working across all levels of the organisation—including senior leadership, shop floor employees, and the VP—you will play a critical role in embedding a strong and proactive safety culture.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
 
Health & Safety (approx. 90%)
 
  • Ensure compliance with HS standards and legislation
  • Drive incident investigations, workplace assessments, audits, and risk assessments
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training (e.g. emergency preparedness)
  • Identify and mitigate risks across processes, equipment, and workplaces
  • Strengthen mental well-being initiatives in partnership with People & Organisation (P&O)
  • Promote employee health, ergonomics, and safe working conditions
  • Deliver HS reporting and performance insights
  • Provide expert guidance on ergonomics, indoor climate, and workplace safety
  • Build and anchor a strong safety culture with leaders and H&S representatives
 
Environment (approx. 10%)
 
  • Drive environmental initiatives aligned with sustainability ambitions and “Circular for Zero”
  • Support environmental risk assessments related to processes and changes
  • Ensure compliance, reporting, and audit readiness within environmental areas
  • Support data collection and analysis for the annual Environmental Management Review
  • Act as a substitute in Environmental Process Groups when needed
 
 
About the Department
Device Manufacturing New Product Introduction (DMN) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation and plays a pivotal role in developing and manufacturing components for tomorrow’s medical devices.
With approximately 500 employees, we partner across the organisation to set the standards for current and future device production—ultimately serving millions of patients worldwide.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring:
  • A relevant degree (e.g. Risk & Safety Management, Production Engineering) or similar background
  • Experience within Health & Safety, including risk assessments and H&S systems (minimum 2 years preferred; strong graduates also considered)
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across organisational levels
  • Professional proficiency in English and capability to communicate in Danish
