The position

 

As an API Professional at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Ensure daily presence and support to production activities in a biotechnological manufacturing environment.
  • Support processes around media and buffer preparation, cell culture and cultivation, and operate advanced machinery such as filtration and liquid chromatography systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including validation and qualification of production processes.
  • Handle documentation, such as periodic reports, incident reports, working instructions and change requests.
  • Drive systematic problem solving.
  • Drive optimization projects and continuous improvement using LEAN methodologies and to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to the launch of new products by providing technical expertise and supporting filing processes.

 

You can foresee continuous presence and dialogue with colleagues across the entire production to secure the quality level while improving our working methods and efforts to avoid errors. When encountering challenges, you make sure to involve the right resources to enable fast, efficient problem-solving in compliance with the standards.

 

The way you will succeed in this job, is by exhibiting a highly visible go-look-see attitude, and by ensuring great collaboration across teams as we all work together in our department to reach our ambitious goals.

 

We have several open positions in process support (upstream and downstream).

 

Qualifications

 

We are looking for several candidates for different positions with the following qualifications:

- A Master’s degree in natural Sciences e.g. biotechnology, engineering, chemist or a related field.

-At least 2 years of experience in GxP pharmaceutical production, preferably within API manufacturing.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills across different levels of stakeholders.

- Curious and systematic approach to problem solving.

- A desire to be involved in and close to the running process in production.

 

An advantage but not a requirement is:

- Experience with new product launches, including filing and inspections.

- Proven ability to drive optimization projects using LEAN principles.

- Knowledge of validation and qualification processes.

 

About the department

 

You will be part of a production department that operates across two facilities, manufacturing three key products. With approximately 12 teams, our department thrives on cross-functional collaboration, bringing together expertise in equipment, cleaning, process support, maintenance, and environmental monitoring. Our focus is on ensuring robust production processes and systems that support both market production and the successful launch of new products. The atmosphere is dynamic and supportive, with a shared commitment to excellence and innovation.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200 to 838,100 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
