(Senior) Product Development Engineer (Temporary Positions)

Are you motivated by developing medical devices that make a real difference for patients worldwide? We are looking to hire several Product Development Engineers on temporary positions to strengthen our development activities. Depending on your experience, you will contribute with strong technical skills and a quality‑driven mindset across the product development lifecycle.

 

Your new role

As a Product Development Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring technical integrity, compliance and risk management of medical device products from early concept through post‑market activities. Working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, you will help deliver robust and innovative design solutions that meet both patient and business needs.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Driving design control and risk management activities across development and lifecycle phases
  • Developing and maintaining requirements, system design, verification and validation activities
  • Contributing to product innovation from user needs through validated concepts
  • Supporting post‑launch activities such as change control, investigations and lifecycle improvements
  • Collaborating across functions and contributing to projects with increasing responsibility based on experience

 

Your new department

You will join a highly specialised product development environment working with medical devices in a regulated setting. The department works closely with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical, Product Supply and external partners to deliver safe and effective solutions for patients globally. The role is primarily based in Denmark and includes collaboration with international stakeholders.

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for candidates with approximately 2–5+ years of relevant experience, as we are interested in hiring several candidates for the position.

You bring:

  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field
  • Around 2–5+ years of experience within product development, preferably in a regulated or technical environment
  • Experience in design control, risk management and verification & validation
  • A structured, quality‑focused approach and the ability to work across disciplines
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
