Your new role

As Supply Manager you will optimize categories across the inbound supply chain from supplier to Novo Nordisk production. Working in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will:

  • Drive and develop relevant category teams, working closely with Quality, Strategic Sourcing, and other stakeholders to execute the Category Plan and address specific issues. 
  • Lead tasks and projects within the relevant category as defined in our category plan(s) or prioritized by the Category Group. 
  • Monitor and drive supplier performance, ensuring adherence to agreements, on-time delivery, and quality standards. 
  • Manage supplier capacity by establishing and coordinating purchase forecasts, aligning supplier capacities with Novo Nordisk’s future production demands. 
  • Ensure supplier compliance with Novo Nordisk purchasing requirements, including managing supplier-related change requests. 
  • Drive and contribute to supplier and supply risk management in the relevant sourcing categories. 

 

Your new department

The Inbound Supply Management department at Novo Nordisk plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and components critical to the company's production and supply chain operations. This department is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the inbound supply processes, fostering strong relationships with suppliers, and maintaining an efficient flow of goods from external sources into the company's production facilities. Located at our headquarters, the department thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working collaboratively to support Novo Nordisk's mission. 

 

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for candidates who can bring the following qualifications to the table: 

  • A master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. 
  • Substantial experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain management preferably in a highly regulated industry.
  • Proven experience in supplier management, including performance monitoring, risk management, and negotiation. 
  • Project management experience with strong execution skills
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance in supply chain management. 

 

In addition, you possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000.00 kr. to 956,900.00 kr., corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
