We are looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Project Manager to join our GCM DS Supply Chain team. In this role, you will lead the supply chain implementation of strategic manufacturing projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) to ensure robust and compliant supply chain solutions. You will be at the centre of some of Novo Nordisk's most important growth initiatives, supporting the delivery of products that improve the lives of millions of patients worldwide.
The Position
As Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain work packages within complex projects involving new manufacturing sites, CMOs, product transfers, and supply chain network changes. You will collaborate across the value chain and drive decisions that ensure timely project delivery and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Supply Chain project plans aligned with overall project milestones.
- Drive implementation of Supply Chain work packages in strategic projects.
- Design and establish robust end-to-end supply chain solutions.
- Facilitate sourcing, transport, warehousing, and inventory strategies.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Logistics, and external partners.
- Ensure supply chain processes are established, documented, and ready for operational handover.
- Identify and manage project risks and mitigation plans.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners and influence decisions without formal authority.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the Supply Chain Projects team.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you likely have:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Several years of experience within Supply Chain, Project Management, Operations, Manufacturing, or Logistics.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive progress through ambiguity.
- Structured and analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated industries is considered an advantage.
About the Department
GCM DS Supply Chain is responsible for establishing and maintaining supply chains for externally manufactured drug substance products. We partner closely with manufacturing sites, CMOs, and supply chain stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to ensure reliable and scalable supply chains that support the company's future growth ambitions.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000.00 to 956,900.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
