Student Assistant – Business Finance & Analysis
Get hands-on experience where finance meets strategy – and help shape the decisions behind life-saving medicines reaching patients worldwide.
Your new role
As a Student Assistant in Business Finance & Analysis (BF&A), you will play an active part in keeping planning, analysis and coordination running smoothly across the team. You will work closely with finance professionals and contribute directly to the material that supports strategic decision-making at leadership level.
Planning, coordination and practical execution
- Support the coordination of recurring planning cycles by helping prepare meeting agendas, timelines, action overviews and other practical enablers
- Track actions, update overviews and ensure smooth day-to-day execution of leadership activities
Preparation of material for strategic decision-making
- Assist in preparing clear and well-structured presentations for leadership forums
- Consolidate input from multiple sources into cohesive material that supports high-quality decisions
Financial analysis and data-driven insights
- Support financial analysis and data consolidation, helping the team deliver accurate and timely insights
- Contribute to structured data collection and reporting that underpins BF&A's analytical work
Structured follow-up, documentation and processes
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure timely follow-up on actions and deadlines across the team
- Support consistent and structured processes that enable effective execution
Tools, templates and continuous improvement
- Help strengthen and improve templates, trackers and overview material used in recurring BF&A activities
- Apply curiosity and digital tools – including AI tools where relevant – to identify smarter, more efficient ways of working

Within Global Manufacturing & Supply, the Business Finance & Analysis team plays a central role in enabling strategic decision-making across GMS finance leadership. Based at our GMS headquarters in Taastrup, you will join a collaborative team that values structure, analytical rigour and a service-minded approach – and where your contributions will directly support the planning and coordination that keeps the wider finance organisation running effectively.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes ownership of their tasks and thrives in a structured, collaborative environment.
You will bring with you:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field
- A structured and organised way of working, with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Proficiency in Excel for data consolidation, analysis and template maintenance, and in PowerPoint for preparing clear decision material
- Strong communication skills with high proficiency in both oral and written English
- A proactive, service-minded approach with curiosity and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Basic familiarity with digital tools, including AI tools such as Copilot, is an advantage
Previous work experience is not required but is appreciated.

What we offer
Salary and Benefits: This position is hourly paid. For this position, the hourly base rate is 209,27 DKK, basedon an assessment of relevant factors such as experience, educational background, demonstrated competencies, and the specific skills required for the position. In addition to the hourly base rate, Student Assistants are entitled to a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
