The position
In Novo Nordisk’s Global Direct Procurement (GDP), we are looking for talented students for a full-time internship position starting in September 2026.
As an intern in GDP, you will support different sourcing categories in the daily work of running tenders and preparing for negotiations, managing suppliers, driving cross-functional projects, and being updated on the market dynamics. Your focus will be outsourced services and sup-plies where you will gain exposure to a broad stakeholder landscape across Novo Nordisk and key suppliers.
The internship will provide you with hands-on experience in end-to-end supplier management, project management, and data analytics used for developing long-term sourcing strategies and preparing business cases. You will be required to make fact-based decisions and present your conclusions clearly and concisely. Therefore, you should expect to work with software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Coupa and SAP.

Practicalities:
- Internship period: 6-12 months
- Working hours: Full-time (37 hours/week)
- Start date: September 2026
- Location: Høje Taastrup, Denmark
- The position is paid
- A Danish full-time work permit is required (for international students, please provide documentation)
You should be enrolled as a student for the duration of the entire internship and be able to doc-ument it. The internship is full-time position with flexibility to allow for exams.
Qualifications
You are currently enrolled in a relevant master's degree in supply chain management, business, economics, engineering, or equivalent.
We are seeking students with the following skills and experience:
- Passionate about problem-solving
- Excellent analytical skills
- Positive-minded with a healthy sense of humour
- A can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office toolbox
- Fluency in oral and written English (English is our office language)

About the department
GDP consist of +200 individuals from more than 25 different countries and a great variety of ed-ucational backgrounds including Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, Science, and Legal.
GDP is part of the Supply Chain area under our Global Manufacturing & Supply organisation. We are responsible for directing end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for all direct material and service categories supporting our global manufacturing sites. Through collabora-tion with our international supplier networks, we ensure availability of the supply needed to de-velop and produce products that help millions of people around the world living with chronical diseases.
