Sourcing Manager

Category:  Procurement
Location:

Høje-Taastrup, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Department: Regional Sourcing
Location: Taastrup

Your impact begins here

As Sourcing Manager, you will turn sourcing opportunities into tangible commercial results across our production sites. You will manage sourcing projects end to end—from identifying opportunities and developing business cases to market engagement, negotiation, contracting and implementation handover.

Working across categories such as production services and supplies, you will drive greater standardisation and develop regional solutions that balance commercial value with operational needs. You will work closely with production sites across our global production footprint.

What you’ll bring

You combine sourcing experience and commercial curiosity with the drive to move projects forward. You can challenge constructively, listen to stakeholders, and find practical solutions in a complex and changing environment.

We expect you to bring:

  • A master’s degree in business, supply chain management or another relevant field.

  • Relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain or a related commercial discipline, preferably around three to five years.

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing processes, including market engagement, bid evaluation, commercial analysis and independent negotiation.

  • Experience building business cases and creating alignment among cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and project-management skills, with the ability to understand new categories and business needs quickly.

  • Professional proficiency in English. Danish is useful, but not essential.

Your mindset matters as much as your technical expertise. You see opportunities rather than obstacles, enjoy delivering at pace and remain attentive to the realities and requirements of individual production sites, while feeling comfortable challenging status quo.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and qualify sourcing opportunities together with category managers, business stakeholders and production sites.

  • Develop the sourcing and commercial elements of business cases, including scope, baseline, value potential, risks and implementation dependencies.

  • Translate approved category direction and business requirements into clear, project-specific sourcing strategies.

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including planning, supplier engagement, bid evaluation, commercial analysis, negotiation and contracting coordination.

  • Work with stakeholders across sites and countries to support regional agreements and greater standardisation.

  • Ensure structured handover of contractual commitments and implementation actions, while supporting the validation and tracking of commercial benefits.

The role works across several categories rather than remaining permanently assigned to one area. Examples include production services such as cleaning, waste management and sterilisation, as well as personal protective equipment, cleaning equipment, detergents and other regulated production supplies.

Who you’ll work with

You will join the Regional Sourcing Team within the Global Direct Procurement Unit. Global Direct Procurement is responsible for sourcing all inbound materials and services that are critical to Global Manufacturing & Supply, enabling the production of products for millions of people around the world.

The team is entering a new organisational setup with a sharper distinction between category management and sourcing execution. You will contribute to building effective ways of working while joining a team with strong collaboration, good relationships and a positive working atmosphere. The role also involves working with stakeholders across countries and adapting solutions to different site requirements.

What you can expect here

You can expect ownership of your sourcing projects and the opportunity to influence how Regional Sourcing works across sites and categories. You will operate within clear governance while being trusted to prepare recommendations, lead negotiations and move projects from opportunity to implementation. The environment values commercial ambition, collaboration, adaptability and practical execution.
