Your New Role
As Senior Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping and driving the roadmap for our OpenText Downstream solutions, supporting critical document and information flows across the downstream value chain. You will act as the link between Global business stakeholders, Enterprise IT, and external vendors, ensuring that solutions are scalable, compliant and deliver real business value.
You will join a complex and highly collaborative landscape, where your ability to prioritise, translate needs into user stories, and navigate multiple stakeholders will be essential.
Your key tasks and areas of responsibility may be summarised as:
- Lead the product roadmap and backlog for our Downstream Integration Solution, ensuring clarity, prioritisation and alignment with architecture and business value.
- Drive end‑to‑end implementation processes—from scoping and planning to hypercare—across regions, affiliates and external trading partners.
- Translate complex business needs into solution specifications, backlog items and clear direction for agile delivery teams.
- Ensure GxP compliance, data integrity and robust documentation as IT System Owner Delegate for relevant systems.
- Champion digitalisation and automation at scale, identifying opportunities and standardising proven solutions across the global supply network.
Your new department
You will join Global Logistics & Distribution Integrations & Optimisations, a team dedicated to building world‑class, standardised and future‑fit integration processes. We operate at the intersection of business, IT, and external partners—driving impactful change across supply chain operations. You will work closely with affiliates, production sites, enterprise IT, and global stakeholders, with your primary base in Taastrup and occasional travel to sites and affiliates worldwide.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner who combines strong business understanding with solid experience in digital platforms and stakeholder management. Ideally, you see yourself in the following description:
- Experience with SAP Supply Chain processes, particularly SD (Sales & Distribution), and basic knowledge of FI.
- Experience with distribution operations and related master data/configuration.
- Solid exposure to GxP‑regulated environments, including validation and documentation requirements.
- Proven ability to understand business requirements and translate them into solution designs and user stories.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions, secure alignment and communicate clearly with both business and IT teams.
