Senior Finance Partner for Contract & Local Manufacturing

Join the DPM IO Business Finance team and play a key role in driving financial processes, shaping insightful financial analysis, and delivering value-adding finance partnering for Contract & Local Manufacturing Drug Products (CLM DP).


The position


As our new Senior Finance Partner for CLM DP, you will be trusted finance partner to the organization, ensuring financial transparency and insights into cost base. You will be responsible for keeping the financial house in order for CLM DP, leading key budgeting and forecasting processes.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Consolidate the financial results for CLM DP for management reporting and financial reporting including the financial results from 5 local manufacturing sites and the CMO portfolio.
  • Leading all annual recurring tasks, such as monthly reporting and budget processes (MEC, MMR, RE, AB, LE, YE) for CLM DP, with a primary focus on CCD.
  • Ensuring financial understanding and maturity assessment/development of the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) project portfolio which goes across different geographies and products, as well as ensure right accounting treatment, tax compliance and financial implementation of CMOs.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives, business cases and major projects with robust financial analysis, risk assessment and resource allocation perspectives.
  • Improving finance processes, planning governance, transparency and capability building across budget owners and business stakeholders.
  • Be finance partner to the area and provide ad-hoc support and analyses to internal stakeholders, building a constructive dialogue to become a trusted advisor for the management team and other stakeholders.

 

In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions, transforming complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights. Success will require strong analytical capabilities, a proactive approach, and the ability to foster trusted relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.


Qualifications

 

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, finance partnering, financial controlling, or auditing
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a high-quality mindset, with attention to detail while maintaining a broader business perspective
  • Strong business partnering skills with experience advising senior stakeholders at Director/VP level, including the ability to facilitate alignment across functions and influence decisions
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to connect financial plans with business priorities, resource allocation and value creation
  • Strong communication skills to translate finance data into clear storyline to facilitate business decisions

 

 

It will be considered an advantage if you have:

 

  • Previous experience in a finance role within pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of financial management of a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO)
  • Experience from a global finance role involving process management, financial consolidation and financial analysis

 

 

You have a strong interest in financial processes and are motivated by opportunities to improve them. You work in a structured way, have a sharp eye for detail, and are comfortable operating in an international environment.

About the department


The DPM IO Finance, Investment and Procurement team is based in Høje Taastrup. The department consists of approximately 30 colleagues and is responsible for driving the finance, investment and procurement agenda across DPM IO network.

 

You will join the DPM IO Business Finance team, a diverse and high-performing team of 8 colleagues with varied backgrounds and levels of business experience. We use our different perspectives to strengthen financial processes, support resource allocation, and turn data into relevant insights and actions. As a trusted partner to the business, we focus on financial process excellence and on creating insights that support better decision-making across the organisation.

 

You will be Finance Partner for Contract & Local Manufacturing Drug Products (CLM DP), which includes five local manufacturing sites dedicated to serving patients living with serious chronic diseases in Algeria, Iran, Japan and Russia, and Global Contract Manufacturing Drug Product, which manages the entire life cycle of externally manufactured drug products from commercial external production, aseptic manufacturing and filling, to product assembly and packaging.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 651.000 to 956.900, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
