The Position

As an SVP cLEAN Partner, you will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across External Supply (ES), advising the SVP of ES, driving cLEAN strategy, and supporting cLEAN implementation in collaboration with CVP cLEAN partners across the organisation.

 

A key part of the role is conducting cLEAN assessments, supporting our strategic journey ensuring operational excellence across ES, and setting standards to optimize performance across ES. You will be expected to extract the best from the LEAN toolbox, applying the right methodologies to drive efficiency while understanding what is needed in an SVP area that is primarily office based. Additionally, you will represent ES in the PSQIT cLEAN network group, ensuring best practices and strategic direction are effectively anchored across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a sparring partner for the SVP of ES, shaping the cLEAN strategy, conducting cLEAN assessments, and fostering a "one ES" mindset.
  • Drive and contribute to OpEx initiatives, ensuring alignment with the ES Business Plan and embedding cLEAN principles into strategic discussions.
  • Ensure the successful rollout of cSS elements across ES, setting standards, supporting leaders in LEAN leadership, and collaborating on training initiatives.
  • Lead the ES cLEAN network, ensuring alignment, best practice sharing, and mobilization of resources while leveraging LEAN tools to drive efficiency.
  • Represent ES in the PSQIT cLEAN network, contribute to setting LEAN standards, anchor key decisions, and implement best practices across ES.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we imagine you have:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with continued training in Project Management, coaching, facilitation, and LEAN Leadership.
  • Extensive experience in LEAN implementation, project management, strategy deployment, coaching, change management, and cultural transformation.
  • Strong background in LEAN transformation, turnarounds in large multi-site (preferably international) environments, and strategy deployment.
  • Proven ability to coach, facilitate, and communicate effectively, build strong relationships, and work cross-functionally at all levels.
  • Full proficiency in English (spoken and written), with high drive, flexibility, and an innovative mindset, along with the ability to motivate stakeholders and foster collaboration.

 

In this position, you will work independently, making a strong impact across the organization. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, spar with senior leaders, and provide strategic recommendations, ensuring clear and assertive communication at all levels. Navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, you will drive process improvements, innovation, and training initiatives while handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

 

About the department

External Supply (ES) is a part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality and IT. We are responsible for driving external supply to Novo Nordisk manufacturing. We establish long-term strategic partnerships and supplier relations and negotiate agreements that provide efficient supply. As we continue to grow our business, we need sharp minds who want to join us in this journey.

 

You will be part of a department called Executive Office, while your role will extent across the SVP area. Executive Office consists of a team of between 10-15 colleagues supporting the SVP of External Supply and driving business improvements and projects across External Supply organisation with Business Partnering, Communication, LEAN, and Health and Safety. You will be part of a team where proactivity, continuous process improvements, a positive can-do energy, informal team setting, and stakeholder engagement is key. We focus on continuously developing individual and team competencies with a clear focus of people development.
