If so, you may be interested in joining us as a Project Management Intern in Global Contract Manufacturing Drug Product (GCM DP).

 

The position

As a Project Management Intern, you will support our Project Management team across a variety of tasks and initiatives. You will contribute to strategic initiatives, global processes, and ad hoc activities that support the effective management of our organisation and stakeholders. You can expect to collaborate on initiatives linked to our functional priorities while gaining insight into different aspects of working in a global corporate environment.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting day-to-day project management activities, including communication tasks, standard reporting, document handling, Circular for Zero initiatives, and collaboration across our Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs).
  • Assisting management and Project Managers with the development of standard handbooks and the facilitation of workshops.
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of tools and intranet content for internal procedures and communication.

 

To support your development, you will receive continuous guidance and feedback from your manager throughout the internship.

 

Practical details

  • Internship duration: Minimum 6 months, with the possibility of extension
  • Working hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (flexibility during exam periods)
  • Start date: March 2026
  • Compensation: Paid internship (DKK 15,000 per month), subject to eligibility based on your educational programme

Qualifications

We are looking for students currently pursuing a master’s degree in engineering, environment, business, business administration, or a related field, who are interested in developing their project management skills.

 

We value that you:

  • Have general project management knowledge and experience working with diverse stakeholders
  • Are proficient in the MS Office suite
  • Have an interest in IT, software implementation, aseptic processes, environmental topics, or UX design principles (experience is an advantage, but not a requirement)
  • Demonstrate solid academic performance
  • Have relevant work or extracurricular experience
  • Possess strong analytical skills and can combine qualitative and quantitative insights
  • Work in a structured and organised way and communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • Show initiative, professionalism, and a proactive “can‑do” mindset
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English

 

About the function & team

GCM DP is a unit within Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organization, responsible for the global manufacturing of drug products at Contract Manufacturers, comprising approximately 200 dedicated professionals. The primary role of GCM DP is to establish, monitor, support, and control the production handled by CMOs, operating in various countries such as India, Bangladesh, South Africa, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. You will join the GCM DP RoW department, which is responsible for both controlling and executing the project portfolio. This experienced group of Senior Project managers and Project Directors serves as a source of inspiration and mentorship for your future career development, as they understand that collaboration and communication are critical to successful project delivery. The office is located in Hoj Taastrup, where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside knowledgeable colleagues in a fast-paced environment
