The position
You will be joining the Global Direct Procurement – QPS Quality, GxP Production Services & Supplies department). In this role, you will be the Process Lead and Process Group Responsible for Procurement of Goods and Services for Manufacturing Purposes, and you will be a key driver of compliance, process excellence and continuous improvement across the organisation.
You will act as the primary liaison on tactical and strategic quality matters, collaborating with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk and you will support the organisation in maintaining audit readiness and delivering on its Quality Management System (QMS) obligations.
You can expect to be involved in:
- Driving compliance with NN QMS, ISO and relevant GxP requirements across Strategic Sourcing (GSOD/GDP).
- Serving as Process Group Responsible including chairing Process Group for dedicated process.
- Acting as the quality liaison on tactical and strategic quality issues, and as Project Manager on cross-functional sourcing quality topics.
- Implementing new external requirements, participating in compliance task force groups, and sharing expert process knowledge.
- Monitoring and benchmarking process performance, maintaining and improving SOPs, and establishing training for the organisation.
- Simplifying, standardising, digitalising and automating processes, and facilitating knowledge sharing for improvement activities.
- Establishing and managing process goals, preparing Process Reviews, identifying issues and driving remediation in collaboration with stakeholders.
The role has global reach across all procuring functions in Novo Nordisk, and travel may be required on occasion. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have:
- A Master’s degree (M.Sc. or similar) in pharmacy, engineering, biology, chemistry or a related field.
- Solid experience within process management.
- Solid experience within sourcing and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products (drug and device) and related regulatory requirements for supplier quality control.
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance disciplines (GxP) and supplier assessment in a global context.
- Experience in leading cross-organisational and global teams towards strategic goals, with strong project management skills.
- A track record of complex problem-solving, managing global stakeholders and overcoming unforeseen challenges.
- The ability to develop and implement global quality strategies to ensure compliance with external and internal requirements.
- Strong communication skills – verbally and in writing – including professional presentation skills and fluency in English.

About the department
Global Direct Procurement is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Supply chain organisation. We are responsible for securing that suppliers are in place to support Novo Nordisk’s global pharmaceutical production. Through collaboration with our international supplier networks, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products that help millions of people around the world live with chronic diseases.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
