If so, you could be our new Lead Finance Business Partner within Supply Chain Finance at Novo Nordisk.


Your new role


As our new Lead Finance Business Partner, you will become a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the supply chain organisation, playing a pivotal role in financial planning, strategic decision-making and operational excellence.


Working closely with the Head of Supply Chain Finance, you will act as a trusted advisor and informal leader within the team, helping coordinate priorities, provide direction across key financial processes and support the delivery of strategic initiatives across the SVP organisation.

This is an opportunity to influence business direction, support major transformation programmes and make a lasting impact across one of Novo Nordisk's most important business areas.


You will be responsible for translating complex financial and operational data into clear business insights that enable senior leaders to make informed decisions and deliver long-term value.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading financial planning, forecasting and reporting activities across the SVP area.
  • Driving strategic resource allocation and challenging assumptions to ensure a strong alignment with business priorities.
  • Creating financial transparency around organisational growth, productivity, headcount, cost drivers and overall business performance.
  • Consolidating financial plans and producing clear executive-level recommendations that support senior decision-making.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across planning, supply chain design, sourcing, logistics, distribution and manufacturing.
  • Acting as a trusted finance advisor, confidently influencing and constructively challenging senior leaders.
  • Providing informal leadership across the finance team by coordinating priorities, supporting colleagues and helping deliver key business objectives.
  • Leading or supporting strategic initiatives including productivity programmes, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, shared services and broader supply chain transformation projects.
  • Driving continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting, and data quality.
  • Championing a culture of collaboration, accountability and operational excellence.
  • Initially, your primary focus will be financial planning, reporting and resource allocation. As you become established within the organisation, you will progressively take ownership of larger strategic and transformational programmes.

 

Your new department

You will join Supply Chain Finance within supply chain business support, supporting a global organisation of approximately 2,000 colleagues.


The function partners with stakeholders across planning, supply chain design, manufacturing, contract manufacturing, logistics and distribution, helping connect financial strategy with operational execution across a critical part of Novo Nordisk.


This is a highly visible role, offering extensive exposure to senior leaders while providing an excellent platform for future leadership opportunities within Finance.

Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you combine strong financial expertise with commercial curiosity, strategic thinking and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders across a complex global organisation.

 

We imagine you have:

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or another relevant discipline.
  • Significant experience within Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, Commercial Finance or a related finance function.
  • Strong experience leading financial planning, forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • A solid understanding of supply chain or manufacturing business drivers and their financial impact.
  • The ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights that support decision-making.
  • Proven experience influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across multiple business functions.
  • Experience working with ERP and Business Intelligence systems such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau or Alteryx.
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling and presentation skills.
  • A genuine interest in digitalisation, artificial intelligence and modern finance technologies.
  • A proactive, collaborative and structured approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience is not essential. We welcome candidates from complex international organisations within industries such as: FMCG, Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemicals, Medical Devices.
  • Experience operating within fast-moving organisations where scenario planning, agility and continuous improvement are central to decision making would be highly advantageous.

Salary and benefits 
For this role, the annual base salary ranges from DKK 742,600 to 1,091,600, depending on your experience and competencies.


Incentives and benefits: The package may include short- and/or long-term incentives as well as additional employee benefits, aligned with the position level, location, and market benchmarks.
