IT/OT Site Operations SPOC

Help four international manufacturing sites turn complex IT and operational technology needs into clear priorities and action. As our IT/OT Site Operations Single Point of Contact, you will connect local manufacturing teams with global IT functions, strengthening governance, compliance and reliable production across Iran, Algeria, Russia and Japan.

Your new role

You will be the primary IT/OT liaison for four manufacturing sites, ensuring that local needs are understood, prioritised and connected with the right global teams. Rather than acting as a deep technical specialist or directly managing every project, you will ask the right questions, facilitate decisions and maintain momentum across functions, cultures and geographies.

Working closely with local manufacturing teams, business stakeholders and central IT functions, you will create clarity around production-critical infrastructure, systems and applications. You will ensure that incidents, risks, lifecycle activities and improvement opportunities receive clear ownership and follow-up.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Act as the Single Point of Contact between the manufacturing sites and global IT functions, creating transparency around priorities, decisions and next steps.
• Maintain a five-year IT/OT roadmap covering target architecture, lifecycle activities, planned downtime, dependencies and funding estimates.
• Identify and communicate risks, compliance gaps and improvement opportunities, ensuring timely challenge, escalation and follow-up.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving and coordinate countermeasures with the relevant technical, quality and business stakeholders.
• Establish meaningful performance indicators that strengthen governance, operational transparency and continuous improvement.

You will have the independence to shape how the role operates while working within a complex, highly regulated international manufacturing environment. Occasional travel of up to 10% is expected.

Your new department

You will join Drug Product Manufacturing International Operations IT, a global organisation supporting reliable, compliant and scalable IT/OT delivery across our manufacturing network. The team connects local manufacturing priorities with global standards, architecture and digital solutions that support stable production and future-ready operations.

The department works at the intersection of manufacturing, quality, compliance, digitalisation and business execution. Its focus is to strengthen governance, improve standardisation and enable continuous improvement across sites operating in diverse and complex environments.

You will partner closely with an architect already assigned to the area. Together, you will support the four sites while bringing complementary coordination and architectural perspectives. You will also collaborate with local site teams, global IT functions, quality colleagues, business stakeholders and project teams, and report to the Director.

The position is officially based in Høje Taastrup, Denmark. Internal international candidates are welcome to express interest, although any alternative employment arrangement would be subject to practical and contractual feasibility.

Your skills and qualifications

You combine an understanding of IT with strong stakeholder leadership and experience from regulated environments. Compliance experience is essential, as you will help ensure that technology-related decisions and activities meet relevant quality and regulatory expectations.

We expect you to bring:

• A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or another relevant field.
• Significant experience from a regulated industry, ideally pharmaceutical manufacturing or another environment with demanding quality and compliance requirements.
• Experience with IT, digitalisation, manufacturing or quality initiatives, supported by a solid understanding of IT compliance and manufacturing operations.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills, including the confidence to challenge, escalate and drive progress without direct authority.
• The independence, initiative and cross-cultural awareness needed to navigate ambiguity and work effectively across international sites and organisational boundaries.

Experience with manufacturing IT, MES, ERP, ITIL, serialisation, automation, infrastructure or site IT services would be useful, but it is not essential. More important is your ability to understand the wider business context, ask precise questions and connect the right people.

You communicate with clarity, build trust and adapt your approach to different audiences. You are structured and analytical, but also practical and focused on execution. You value diverse perspectives and help colleagues move towards shared outcomes.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
