Join Global Direct Procurement – Logistics as an Intern and gain hands-on experience in a global, fast-paced environment where you will support sourcing projects that secure Novo Nordisk’s logistics capacity, cost competitiveness and sustainability ambitions.

 

Your new role

As a Logistics Intern in Global Direct Procurement, you will support sourcing and category activities across Novo Nordisk’s logistics value chain, covering air, sea, road and courier transportation as well as warehousing solutions. You will be part of a transformational phase, working closely with experienced Category Managers and stakeholders across the organisation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting RFx and sourcing processes, including project coordination, stakeholder communication and tender preparation
  • Performing analytical and data-driven tasks to support sourcing and category decisions
  • Assisting with contract lifecycle management, CDA handling and signature processes
  • Supporting process improvements, data management and administrative tasks within the team
  • Contributing to tender package build-up in close collaboration with Category Managers and Global Business Services, following Novo Nordisk’s sourcing methodology

You will be based in Taastrup and may work in close proximity with internal stakeholders depending on the sourcing pipeline.

 

Your new department

You will join Global Direct Procurement within Global Manufacturing and Supply, a central sourcing unit responsible for short-, medium- and long-term strategic sourcing activities across Novo Nordisk’s global production network.

The department ensures global supply of logistics solutions and works with a broad and diverse supplier base. You will be part of a diverse, international team of experienced Category Managers who will support your professional and personal development within procurement and sourcing.

 

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, with at least 12 months remaining
  • Show strong interest in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management and supply chain logistics
  • Are structured, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and projects in a complex environment
  • Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration internally and externally
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English and comfortable working in an international setting

On a personal level, you are curious, result-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You bring a sense of urgency, enjoy problem-solving and are confident navigating complexity while building strong relationships.

Salary and Benefits: if allowed by the educational institution from where the Intern is enrolled, the monthly salary is fixed. The monthly base rate is 15.900 DKK plus a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
