The position

As a Finance Partner for Global Contract Manufacturing – Drug Product, we look to find a person early in their career, to be responsible for the financial management and partnering to our Global Contract Manufacturing – Drug Product (GCM DP) business unit. You will be involved in execution of core financial processes in our financial annual wheel as well as activities related to financial management and digital finance. The position offers a steep learning curve with plenty of exciting opportunities to make an impact, where you will help ensure strong financial tracking and development of your Financial Planning & Analysis capabilities, while helping to define how we do external manufacturing from a financial perspective.

 

As a Finance Partner for Global Contract Manufacturing – Drug Product, your responsibilities include:

  • Operating the annual financial wheel of financial budgeting and reporting for GCM DP operating costs, hereunder planning and executing budget updates, ensuring that we are transparent and in good control of changes in between budget rounds
  • Delivering high quality insights and forecasting to support business decisions and actions
  • Driving value creation by linking finance activities to business priorities, and ensuring connection between business plans, activities, and optimal resource allocation, and delivering trusted finance business partnering to support decision making
  • Continuously improving productivity by optimizing and visualizing financial insights and processes through digital finance and improving ways of working

 

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in this role, you possess:

  • Master’s degree within Finance, Economics or Accounting (cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit or similar)
  • Good understanding of financial management and controlling, with a minimum 2 years of experience within a relevant finance discipline, e.g. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Experience with BI tools (tableau, PowerBI etc.) as well as SAP is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite, but an appetite to explore and work with these
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English
  • Good communication and presentation skills

About the department

You will report to the Senior Manager of the External Supply Business Finance team. The team develops and drives financial management within operational costs and manning and is responsible for the External Supply area across all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT. This includes sourcing operations, strategic sourcing, and management of all contract manufacturers.

 

You will be part of a team currently consisting of 12 employees, 9 in Denmark and 3 in India, which value purpose, responsibility and proactiveness.
