The Position

In this forward-thinking role, you will be responsible for enterprise-wide manufacturing processes anchored in the Novo Nordisk’s Process Landscape within ET (Emerging Technologies) covering specifically Solid Dosage Forms. These apply both on a corporate level and to all the areas operating the processes. You will be instrumental in setting up a global process group with the right competencies and efficiently running it, to support and improve our production processes.

 

You will:

  • Drive significant process change, define strategies and set direction for processes based on external requirements, enhancing product performance and manufacturability while ensuring compliance.
  • Provide senior management with advice on achieving process excellence and conduct process reviews to make decisions on standardization or differentiation. Some of your key stakeholders will be on CVP, VP and Director level across the ET organisation.
  • Define, decide, and establish the process organization, ensuring scalability of solutions and establishing interfaces with other processes while aligning with relevant initiatives across Novo Nordisk.
  • Motivate, develop and indirectly lead members of ET organisation, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to drive process excellence and ensure the team's success through a matrix organizational structure (as opposed to them being your direct reports).

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • A master’s degree in science, pharmacy, or a related discipline within natural sciences.
  • Profound expertise in Solid Dosage drug product manufacturing having worked in and acquired a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical industry regulatory environment complemented by an ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions to management.
  • Solid experience in project management, preferably with a record of driving change across large organisations.
  • Strategic vision and planning abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to orchestrate large-scale solutions in complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Solid business and organisational skills, with experience in managing high-complexity teams. Preferably Six Sigma Black Belt training/qualification or similar Lean understanding and experience.

You are a talent in engaging and motivating stakeholders and teams with diverse backgrounds and communicate in a clear way. You set a clear and ambitious direction, solve complex tasks and create overview in relation to business strategies and project scope with a curious and structural approach. You display a high level of independence, personal engagement, drive to reach results as well as integrity.

 

About the department

Our department is part of Novo Nordisk's Emerging Technologies (ET) organisation. We work closely with global stakeholders across the entire ET organization, and many other functional areas in Novo Nordisk to ensure alignment and compliance with quality management systems, processes and regulatory standards. DP MSAT & QC consists of 9 departments and employs around 350 people.
