Digital Procurement Intern

Category:  Education
Location:

Høje-Taastrup, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Are you passionate about technology, data, design and AI? Do you want to help shape digital solutions that support procurement professionals and create better user experiences? As a Digital Procurement Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that combine front-end development, data visualisation and digital innovation while collaborating with colleagues across Direct Procurement.

Your new role

In this internship, you will work closely with our Digital Solutions Partner and procurement stakeholders to improve and expand the digital tools that support decision-making across Direct Procurement. You will play an active role in enhancing user experiences, transforming business requirements into intuitive solutions and exploring how AI can create value within procurement processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and enhancing Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on intuitive layouts, effective visualisations and user-friendly reporting experiences.
  • Improving the usability, consistency and overall design of DataHub, our procurement reporting suite.
  • Supporting the development of digital tools using technologies such as React, Streamlit and Power Apps.
  • Collaborating with procurement subject-matter experts to identify, prototype and test practical AI use cases.
  • Supporting testing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities across Digital Procurement.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical skills, creativity and business understanding while contributing to solutions that are used by procurement stakeholders across the organisation.

Your new department

You will join the Digital Procurement team, a group focused on driving digital transformation within procurement through data, technology and innovative ways of working. The team works closely with stakeholders across Direct Procurement to deliver solutions that improve transparency, strengthen decision-making and create better user experiences. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced colleagues who are passionate about digital innovation and committed to supporting your learning and development.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a curious and motivated student who enjoys learning new technologies and turning ideas into practical solutions. You do not need to be an expert, but you should have a genuine interest in digital products, user experience and data-driven decision-making.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

  • Have a strong interest in front-end development, reporting and data visualisation.
  • Have experience with Power BI and are motivated to further develop your expertise.
  • Have an eye for design and enjoy creating simple, modern and intuitive user experiences.
  • Are interested in technology, digital innovation and emerging AI applications.
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders.

Experience with Figma, React, Streamlit or Power Apps is considered an advantage, but the most important qualities are curiosity, motivation and a willingness to learn. We value individuals who enjoy experimenting, improving solutions through feedback and taking ownership of their development journey.
