The position

As a LEAN Partner, you will play a central role in optimising our office-based production operations and coaching our leadership team on LEAN methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, eliminate waste, and drive efficiency gains across the organisation.

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise opportunities for process optimisation within office-based production operations.
  • Utilising LEAN tools and methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, enhance productivity, and systematically solve problems.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, coaching on LEAN principles and practices at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement standardised work processes and performance metrics to sustain improvements.
  • Driving the transition of the LEAN Supply System to a local leader-driven model, supporting yearly assessments and gap identification, and anchoring key annual objectives within the Area Business Plan.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we envision you have the following:

  • A master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in LEAN, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement methodologies.
  • Proven experience in implementing LEAN principles and driving process improvements from a corporate setting
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire change at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
  • A passion for transforming processes and culture for the better, embodying the "we can do better" mindset.
  • Outstanding communication skills, allowing you to build productive working relationships and influence others effectively.
  • The ability to thrive in complex and fast-paced environments while aligning business requirements with overall strategy.

 

About the department

You will be part of the Operational Excellence team, which is anchored in our Business Support department and dedicated to advancing quality and operational standards across GCM Drug Substance and Drug Product. Our team focuses on training, LEAN methodologies, and quality improvements.
